Trzebinia was established in the 14th century and already in 1415 it was granted with town rights from the king Ladislas Jagiello. First Jews started settling in the town in 1731 thanks to the efforts of Antoni Schilhar who gave them the privilege of free trading in Trzebinia
The first Jews settled in Tuliszkow at the beginning of the 19th century. Before that the town had a privilege that banned Jews from settling. Soon after the came to the town, a Jewish cemetery was established
